Just when you think Hamilton is a petulant little twit he pulls THAT out of the bag!
That Hamilton drive has to be one of the best in recent years. To be lapping 5/6 seconds faster than everyone else on the circuit in horrendous conditions is a huge indicator of his ability. All of the top drivers will be scratching their heads and blushing slightly with embarrassment at being so humiliated. |

I would say the result was more down to car set-up than any degree of skill, yeah he kept it on the circuit, but he is meant to do that.
The team gambled on the weather and came out tops, that's why he only qualified fourth, the cars superiority meant he would still come near the top but the set meant it wouldn't be pole, a good indicator on how much set-up was a factor is who came second and third, their teams also gambled on the weather and came out with great results in far inferior cars, if it was down to skill alone then it makes Rubens the greatest driver of all time based on that result alone, but it isn't and the set-up gamble gets the credits for all of the podium finishes, the other drivers won't feel humiliated because the other drivers will know what happened on the day.
Oh and Hamilton is still a petulant little twit whose temperament and I would go as far as his true ability is still highly questionable.
Unlike the best driver on the grid at the moment Mr Kubica.....results in an average car. |

I had a feeling you would voice you opinions! In all honest I agree, Lewis did drive well, but he had a spin and an off track moment too like everyone else, Kubica made his 1st mistake and would of been leading the championship if he'd stayed on track. It seems this years car suites him better than last years adding tho the fact he's gotten on top of his Bridgestone troubles he had in 07.
In all the top 3 have been dissapointing, and yes that includes my drivers, when they are good there great but the mistakes they have made this year. Kimi makes you feel like he has lost interest sometimes, Massa is all over the place and Lewis has fallen into beleveing the hype. But my main villans of 08 so far?
Ant Hamilton and Honda. |
