So what do you use to rid yourself of a hangover? I am always looking for new ideas. i think I like the idea of some beers tonight so I may need some help in the morning.
The best is always bloody mary for me but then again that only really works on a weekend! I have been drinking theis antioxidant vitamin water by glaceau which seems to do a wonderful trick.
Any breakthroughs? lol

| Milk Thistle. A friend told me about this a while back, and I haven't had a hangover since. You can get it in chemists or health stores. |

| Do you take it when you get in from the pub before bed or in the morning when you wake up? |

^ Before bed. Put a few drops in a glass of water and drink it before bed. If you've been drinking loads bring another glass of water to bed with you to drink through the night with another few drops in it.
It works wonders, I tell ya! |

| It doesn't taste very nice, but with a pint of water its well diluted. I tasted some undiluted once just to see what it was like. Yuck! |

^ It seems to be worth it look at this!
Milk thistle has been reported to have protective effects on the liver and to improve its function. It is typically used to treat liver cirrhosis, chronic hepatitis (liver inflammation), and gallbladder disorders
So I think I should start taking this everytime after I drink |

The best cure I have found is to keep on keeping on! That way you never reach hang over state yay!
If I have to stop alcohol intake for some strange reason. I usually take two paracetamol BEFORE bed and hey presto no head ache the next morning! |

Well, I got away with it on Saturday night. I haven't been able to get the milk thistle yet, and went out and had a skin full - as you do. I had loads of water to drink before I went to sleep and when I got up the next day I was ok. Bloody knackered as usual, but that was it.
I'm suffering today however as my thighs are killing me from dancing almost ALL night!! Each time I get up, or go up and down stairs it's agony lol! What's the cure for that then? |

| 2 x 1000mg Effervescent Vitamin C tablets in 1/2 pint of water before you go to sleep, then about 8 hours sleep seems to work for me (I did this weekend and I was well smashed) |

I find a bit of weet-a-bix with lots of milk helps me in the morning! But that might just be because I seem to have a big appetite so I always have to have breakfast. (Drank way too much on the first night of my holiday and spent the night with my head in a bucket....nasty stuff!)
And whatever tablets I can find haha! I usually just have paractemol but I may try the thing Penny suggested next time.
