Robbie Keane has moved from Spurs to Liverpool.
Spurs have been very active with selling in the off season, but not too involved in purchases.
Do they really want to challenge the top 4?

I have to say the exodus at Spurs is a little alarming!
I can appreciate Ramos wanting to put his stamp on the team after inheriting the whole squad but I think it's a risky strategy. |

I hope and pray there is a method to the madness here. I find it hard to believe that we would sell off Keane and Berba and not have replacements ready. We can't go into the season with just Bent as our only striker. Should have never sold Defoe that's for sure!
That being said I watched the friendly yesterday and the team looked great albeit against Norwich. Benty scores 4 and this Gio boy may be the find of the transfer season. He is a real menace, could have easily scored 4 but the Norwich keeper played a blinder. |

| Well it looks like you're getting Bentley. He's a quality player, but you've already got a good right winger in Lennon (from a Leeds fan It's slightly biased) so I think that you should be concentrating on other areas of your squad |

| ^I can see Bentley being played slightly differently than a flat right winger. I'd be inclined to give him a central midfield role or maybe something like Ronaldo has where he starts on the wing but has freedom to wander (not that he is as good as Ronaldo or has his pace lol). |

Arshavin looks like the replacement to Keane but I have my doubts about him. Zenit's asking price is way over the top and a ton of money for a guy who never played in the EPL!
This Gio Dos Santos boy looks the nuts though, could be a real bargain. He is dominating in preseason hopefully this rolls into the real stuff. |

I think Arshavin will be a good buy.
With the way Spurs have started off, they'll be lucky not to be fighting relegation! I certainly can't see them finishing in the top four!
