|

So many big movies out this Summer - which have you seen, which are you planning on seeing, and which ones are you giving a miss?
I haven't been to the cinema in ages - I seem to keep getting distracted by other things (pub!) whenever I plan a night at the cinema.
So, I haven't seen any of this Summer's blockbusters yet.
I'll give Indiana Jones a miss, since I've heard really awful reviews from everyone I know who's been to see it. It sounds terrible. I'll wait for The Incredible Hulk on DVD, although that could be good as Ed Norton is in it. I'll wait for Iron Man on DVD too, even though I've heard its great.
Really want to see - SATC, Batman - I think this is going to be amazing, and The X-Files 2.

Batman definitely. The trailers look unbelievable. Didn't they do a Hulk film a few years ago. I remember going to see it in the cinema. Quite poor if I cam remember right. I was going to see Indiana Jones in the cinema too but then I heard the bad reviews so I might wait until DVD. It might taint my image of the 'originals' which I loved, like the Bond ones (except for Casino Royale which was good).
To be honest that's all if I do get to the cinema over the summer. I rarely go, the last film I saw was 30 Days of Nights. (Awful). I normally only go over mid term breaks when there's a group of people around. |

^ Yeah, that Hulk a few years ago was meant to be really awful, but this one has a much better cast. Ed Norton is a very good actor.
Nene, I so want to see Prince Caspian too - forgot about that one.
Teeth....sounds a bit strange?? |

Indiana Jones was better than I was expecting. It's not as good as either Raiders Of The Lost Ark or The Last Crusade but it is a lot more enjoyable than I was expecting.
Iron Man was fantastic and could be the best Marvel franchise yet.
The trailers for the Hulk and Batman look really good and I'm looking forward to both of them.
Not sure about Prom Night, the original was quite good ( it even had Leslie Nielsen in it ) but was followed by some quite appalling sequels. |

^ I am looking forward to Prom Night, too I am a sucker for those types of films.
Indy Jones was OK, it was actually better than I expected since all of the reviews were so poor. I was entertained at least, I would suggest just waiting for the rental though.
I know it is a bit old but I just rented Semi-Pro with Will Farrell a few days ago it is pretty funny. Not his best but also not his worst but worth a rental I say |

I saw an advert for Teeth the other day! Looks really random....but also pretty scary.
My friend saw Prom Night and she said it was good.....but quite predicatble and apparently the ending isnt very good. I hate it when films have rubbish endings!
I've only ever seen the first episode of Sex and City but I still want to see the movie as everyones saying its soo good!! |

I watched "Indiana Jones & sth" ... it was the second worst movie I've ever seen ... at least the worst Indiana Jones!... just wasting 2 hours of your beautiful life
I downloaded "Kong Fu Panda" but haven't watched it yet, but i think it'll be fun.

Iron Man-I didnt engage with the plot too much but Downey Jr was suprisingly good in it.
Where in the world........-Morgan Spurlock is a genius. This film is hilarious yet quite heartwarming. Well worth the admission fee alone for the Osama 'U Cant Touch This' scene.
Indiana Jones-Awful script, awful plot, awful film.
Really dont want to see Batman due to Heath Ledger-the trailers look quite scary with the character he is playing and id be uncomfortable watching it to be honest. |

Lmao! I was reading about this at the weekend. It sounds AWFUL. Its a 'horror' movie about a teenager desperate to lose her virginity, but she encounters a problem when she realises she's a bit different from other girls er, down below.
Well, here's the poster. It explains everything!
Interesting take on a chastity belt.

^The trailer is pretty hilarious!!!
It features a gynecologist examining her and losing his finger ends! and another poor sod who makes the mistake of helping her lose her virginity and ends up with something worse than his finger ends missing! |

I laugh my tits off everytime I see the trailer for this film. I'd like to have teeth in my ladycave, but more along the 'cat's claws' theme. That way, they can be retracted but if someone's not 'seeing to me' sufficiently to my liking they can come out and bit his nob off!
I thought Indy was awesome, loved it. Just bought the first three as well now. I wanna see that new Will Smith one, except I can never remember what it's called ha ha! |
