Barry to LiverpoolSo now Barry has allegedly said he wants to go to Liverpool, so it looks imminent. Do you think it will work out? What will Villa do for a replacement?
I think GB and Gerrard can form a great partnership as they have already put in some good efforts for England. As for Villa I don't think they are doomed either. O'Neill is good in the transfer market and tbh Barry's play for Villa in the second half of the season was hit and miss and I think that showed in results as well.

I think this is a smart buy for Liverpool.
Gerrard and Barry is already a proven partnership at International level so it's a bit of a no brainer really.
I think if it happens it will signal the end of Lampard's England career (thank the lord).

^ Why is Lampard so shit for England? It is puzzling he doesn't look close to the same player?

^ I know!
He plays great for Chelsea! It can only be Gerrard!
I don't think they have any personal problems with each other and I'm sure are good friends but they just cant play together. You would think top class professionals would find a way but they have tried and tried and when both are on the field it appears to turn Lampard into a gimp, Gerrard remains unaffected!

LOL Yes but no matter who the England manager they just can't seem to resist! I was watching the England v USA game (unfortunately the Yanks didn't turn up) Anyway Lampard was invisible as usual, Barry comes on and within seconds plays an inch perfect ball for Gerrard to score. I was hoping for the camera to pan over to Lampard to see if he was around any sharp objects.
