Germany is the worlds 'greenest' country.Germany has been labelled the world's greenest country after it cut its energy use by more than any other state in 2007.
To be honest I'm not surprised by this, after visiting Germany the first thing you notice is that in places like airports and restaurants there sre sensors on things like taps and urinals so that when you 'wave' your hand in front of the taps the water comes on and is timed so that taps cannot be left on. Similar thing to urinals, as you walk away they flush so that in fact they are flushing as and when it is necessary and not just on a timer when for instance at night time there are less people using them.
The reason they are doing this is because the government have set very high and ambitious targets for reducing carbon dioxide and at this rate they surely must hit their targets.
The question is, do you think your own country is doing enough to reduce their levels of energy?
ps Bryan must have an interesting view on this!

^ LMAO yes the AMerican government is taking great steps to saving the enviorenment.
Good for Germany though that is great, I wish that better steps were being taken but in actuality my country has to be the worst by far and I am pretty guilty myself of not taking good measures for conserving energy etc..
Most places do have the self flush toilets and sinks though and I prefer that not only does it save energy and water but it is better to not spread germs.
