Gyllenhaal and Witherspoon to marryBlimey I think this is quite soon, although if they are happy I wish them both well.

The Oscar-winning actress is thought to have said “not yet”, when Gyllenhaal first proposed during the couple’s vacation in Rome last October. But after discussing the matter with trusted friends, Witherspoon has since accepted the proposal.
A friend of the pair revealed: "Not only were [her friends] crazy about Jake, they could see he was absolutely nuts about her.
“But you've go to understand - Reese is a one-man woman who hates playing the field.
"When Jake proposed in Rome, he knew Reese needed time, and didn't really expect her to say 'yes' right away. He just wanted her to know that he was serious about their relationship - serious enough to make her his wife".
This will be the first marriage for Gyllenhaal and the second for Witherspoon, after divorcing her ‘Cruel Intentions’ co-star Ryan Phillippe last October after an eight year marriage. |

Hmmmm. This is kinda quick. But then this is the way celebs seem to do things with their relationships. Hopefully they will actually choose a fairly long engagement and not rush into marriage right away.

Good to see she at least wanted time to think it over but good luck to them as it seems most quickly decided marriages in celeb world end almost straight away.
