First queston though - I don't understand why my signature doesn't show but instead I'm getting all sort of 'ads' by google etc. ?????

Hi Ivyleaf - there is a welcome sub-forum, further up the page - its a bit hard to find, I guess.
Welcome to the forum!
Signatures are disabled here, and you see ads as its a free forum, and thats how its funded.
