In your lifetime....What is the one thing that you want to see happen?
It can be personal or it can be sort of global if that makes any sense.
For me I suppose as I am quite young I would love there to be a sort of thing created that lets you live forever! I know that dying is just part of life and such however it would be nice to live forever just to see how we as a race develop whether we go onto another planet ect...Also I would love to see how technology would be different 100 or more years from now, I mean technology now is wonderful however imagine in 100 years I just bet it would be nothing compared to now. It would be nice to see I guess. I was watching one of the final episodes of Journeyman last night and there was something about technology, sort of gave me the idea to do this topic.
Personally I guess it would be, that I would love to sort of grow up to have a slightly better brain on my shoulders a bit more mature and to have a sort of an idea where life is going. Also I wouldn’t mind having a family yet I think about it and marriage life just doesn’t seem my type of thing at the moment, but I’m still young and anything can happen!
Soooo DL’ers I now pose the question, what would you like to see in your lifetime?

I wouldn't want to live forever, as I presume you'd keep deteriorating, it's bad enough seeing how people are now in their 70s/80s. I'd like to die relatively young (around the 60s will do).
It may sound boring, but I'd really like to see the end of malnourishment across the world. I don't do an awful lot for charity, but it is said to see all these mega rich people give nothing or barely nothing to charity, when there's millions of people suffering. I'm not wanting to see them all increase their standard of living rapidly, that wouldn't be achievable really, but just to make sure they have basic food/drink/shelter is a must I'd say.

I'd like to see an end to Whale Hunting. Turn the harpoons on the hunters! While I'm at it, I'd like to see an end to seal clubbing and fox hunting too. I could start ranting on here, but it just gets boring after a while.

An end to war would be nice, but that's never going to happen so I won't be holding my breath. I'd like to see the wealth spead around more evenly too, so that everyone can have a decent standard of living.
