Internet securityJust curious as to the type of internet security DL er's have on their computers.
Do you use the free ones that are available or do you splash a bit of cash for them?
Also would you reccommend the ones you use, i.e. firewall and antivirus.

Don't have any.
Firefox + NoScript + common sense = no viruses for 6 months. I do the occasional online scan using Kaspersky.

Get a Mac (he said smugly), currently there are no virus's in the wild that can affect an Apple Macintosh computer. (never say never of course).
I use the built in firewall in Mac OS X 10.5 and no virus detection software.
In my Windows XP Pro virtual machine (installed on my Mac) I use the built in firewall and Kapersky which I find very good for a free virus app.

I have Nod32 antivirus software and the built in firewall through AOL.
Like the others not one virus in over a year.

Got Norton Antivirus (obviously!)...
...don't use the free one but then again i don't spend money on it either. I would NOT recommend it as Norton is actually one of the shittest Antivirus programs i know.
The best has to be Panda Antivirus Platinum. Simply great.

I've got agv antivirus, avast anti virus, spybot search and destroy and spyware blaster. All of them are the free versions. I also use a peerguardian when I am downloading stuff.

I use Windows Firewall, Avast antivirus, Spybot Search & Destroy, SpywareBlaster, Windows Defender, and Ad-Aware. I got em all for free.

I can't believe people actually buy stuff like these!
On my PC I dont have one as it clogs up my Bittorent speeds.
On my laptop which I got on Friday I downloaded a version of MacAfee or something like that I find it ok.

I agree. I have that, but it was free with my laptop when I got it. I also have ad-aware, after something you said in the forums

^ Well mine has been changed so many times Mav knows what I have I just use the damn thing, although having just had a virus and trojan on my lappie I hope what I have on here now is good enough. I have AVG and Comodo. Not sure what I had when it got infected, I thought my laptop was going to die
