The Simple Life star was snuck into Cedars-Sinai, through a secret entrance. Joel must have been pacing, giving family the updates as they came about. He informed everyone when she was going to start pushing.

The singer gave birth at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where socialite Nicole Richie also delivered a child on Friday.
A text message was reportedly sent to the couple's family and friends at 4pm yesterday, which read: "Baby has arrived. Mom and dad are doing well."
No further details have been released and the sex of the child is currently unknown, though unconfirmed rumours suggested that Aguilera was expecting a baby boy after her pregnancy was announced last year.

^Awe, it must be the timeof year, I bumped into a friend of mine today and her 2 week old baby.
I like the name too, especially the Winter bit, quite unusual but not ridiculous!

Christina has called her baby Max Liron. I don't like it much. I still love Nicole's name though.

I'm afraid to say that out of the two I much prefer the name Max to the name Harlow, particularly as it's been given to a girl!

I don't like Harlow, and Winter seems a bit stupid to me. If I was going to include one of the seasons as their middle name, Winter would be the last one I'd pick!

In one of todays papers there is an excellent story that both new mothers are in competition with each other to see who gets the most celebrity visitors, presents and cards even going to the extreme of sending their people down to the others room to check up on what has been arriving.
