This one is probably more for the older members. Have you ever had a stretch of drinking where you have just said enough is enough! I had done that I had drank hard every day from December 22nd through December 31st. On New Years Day i had officially said that was it.

Over that stretch I had 2 Browns games with tailgating 2 Christmas parties, X-mas Eve, actual Christams, a Wedding, Rehearsal Dinner and NYE. So I really didn't have much choice but to partake in drinking every day!

So what was the biggest stretch of drinking you have ever been on? A wild holiday?

I would say holidays when we have been abroad with other couples, one holiday in particular in Crete, it was a quiet resort so we drank loads that holiday. My poor liver. We had Vodka, cocktails, Tequila slammers, beer oh loads of drinks. It was the best and great fun!

I'd say that it was freshers 'week' at Uni - my first year - i drank every night for about 5 weeks, going to a club maybe 4 times per week.

A slip and fracturing my coxics followed by a course of anti-biotics put a stop to the chain.

I can barely make 2 nights on the bounce now, this is only done on special occasions. I don't know how I managed it looking back!

Like Jonny it pretty much kills me to do two nights off the belt these days.

My worst sozzle periods are summer holidays but mainly Christmas time. Every January bar none I am sickened by alcohol to the point where the slightest taste can make me nauseas lol.

This year is no exception and I have sworn to lay off the booze for a month... or at least I did but yesterday a cheeky little Californian white called to me from the fridge and I felt it would be rude to ignore it's advances. So I'm off the wagon already! Yay!!! thumbsup

I can still go on multiple day benders but the after effects can be disastrous. I still feel a bit off and constantly have a dry mouth and it has been 4 days since my last drink.Good news is I think my detox may end tonight. After all it is Friday!

Funky I hate that when beverages just call you out from the fridge, I will not let them poke fun at my manhood either!

^Ha! Yes Bry you can't allow the alcohol to win like that. It would be the thin end of the wedge!
You have to get back up on that alcohol based horse and show it who's boss!!! Good luck for this evening! thumbsup

I didn't drink on New Years Day... but have had a cold one from the fridge each night since... and am in fact drinking from the afore mentioned electrical appliance as we speak.

Biggest bender? So many... I think that between 16 & 30 were my worst years!

When working in the Hotel game we (live in staff) would party on any given night and go straight to work completely battered. I think that given this thread is public I better stop there! ***runs to fridge***

Im really sad and boring. I did used to drink when i was in college but When im drunk i have mad ideas.....Oh my god you know what would be really great.....etc.
Anyway after the whole bog roll round the head episode i calmed down and now i hardly drink at all but i am a bit mental even sober so its all good fun!
