Sales sales salesHere we are just one more day to Christmas and all shopped out, but are we? I usually find the shops are just as busy if not busier just after Christmas than they were before!
So DL'ers, are you one the many people who go looking for bargains straight after Christmas or are you sick of the site of shops and shoppers?

I used to love to go shopping Boxing Day and the days after Christmas but its not so enjoyable taking a toddler around crowded shopping centres!
I'm reluctant sometimes to buy myself certain clothes because they are nearly always half price a week or so later, I love getting a good bargain.

Well, I buy all Christmas presents over the net... so no I'm not sick of the shops.
Also, love going to the shops and getting new stuff on the cheap....

I am usually so skint after christmas that I avoid the shops so i dont have to look at all the lovely things i want in the sale!

I don't do the sales after Christmas because a) I can't be arsed, and b) I have no money left!! The only thing I will cough up and buy are cards and wrapping paper ready for next year because they are so dirt cheap it'd be kinda daft of me not to really.

I don't know about everywhere else, but HMV have some great deals. I saw my Dad buying all 3 series' of Black Books for 30 Euro (Which i can safely assume is for me.) Also the Alien Quadrilogy is 75% off! Right before christmas. That could easily cross the sci-fi fan in your family off the list. All in all we got almost everyones presents in there.

Web sales start on Christmas Day so you bargain hunters can get an early start.

I avoid the shops like the plague after Christmas. I absolutely hate being in crowds full of pushing, noisy people all trying to grab a bargain. Nightmare.

I like buying advent calendars in January. Can get a decent amount of chocolate for about 10p.
I'm doing my shopping tomorrow. Wish me luck!

I hear this year high street Christmas shopping peaked at the end of November and there has been a record low in December. So much so that a lot of shops have started their sales this past weekend to drive trade.

I will probably pop into the shops on the 27th or 28th to let the boxing day mania die down and them make my swoop. I like buying stuff in the sales as its cheap, cheap, cheap. Id say some of my best buys come in the sales and its a nice thing to do post-christmas.

^ I usually do the same as Alex and go a few days after boxing day. I usually end up spending all my xmas money in one go on clothes!!

^ Well I have already purchased in the sales but from the comfort of my own home, it was on the Debenhams site and it took and hour and fifteen minutes to purchase four items for katie but at least they are on order now!

I stay away from sales - I can't stand bargain shoppers, they're mental.
If I do go sale shopping I usually end up buying something that I don't really want just to get out of there (but still come back with something because it's 'cheap')
I'd rather buy something full price that I really want and like than 2 half price items because they are cheap!

I went into town today, admittedly it was quite early (quarter to 10 as I had a dentist appointment before), but there were only 5 people in Virgin (well now named Zavvi or something stupid) which is normally the busiest store in Southend!

^ Yeah, what is all this Zavvi about? I got a CD the other week in Virgin and Zavvi was written on the price tag.
I'm going to pop into town in the morning to check out the sales. Hopefully it won't be too busy. I have my Christmas money to spend, and also I got a voucher for River Island from my sister, so I might get something nice there. I'll also be checking out the Topshop.com sale!
