She's pretty damn hot for 50!!! | Quote: | The Smurfs -- led by Papa Smurf and Smurfette -- kicked off a year of 50th birthday celebrations Monday with Smurfberry cake and sasparilla juice.
The late cartoonist Pierre Culliford -- best known by his pen name, "Peyo" -- first introduced the tiny blue figures in a comic strip in October 1958. He called them Schtroumpf; they became known worldwide as the Smurfs.
The Smurfs, forest dwellers who live in little white-capped mushroom homes, developed their own "Smurf" language in which nouns and verbs were interchanged.
Their debut on U.S. television in 1981 launched their global rise to stardom and made the Smurfs a household name. A Smurf is a Pitufo in Spanish, a Schlumpf in German, Nam Ching Ling to the Chinese, a Sumafa in Japan and Dardassim in Hebrew. |
Azrael, Baby Smurf, Brainy, Cook Smurf, Farmer Smurf, Gargamel, Greedy, Grouchy, Handy, Harmony, Hefty, Jokey, Lazy Smurf, Papa Smurf, Poet Smurf, Smurf, Smurfette and Vanity Smurf.
Who was your favourite?
To this day I'm still very attracted to Smurfette even if she is 50! I think I have a thing about blue women in general as I really fancied that one off the original Star Trek who shagged Captain Kirk.
The Smurfberry cake is on me! (quite literally ladies)

Have to be honest and say I'm not attracted to the Smurfs or blue men in general

Jokey was my favorite by far! I always laughed at the exploding presents. That trick just never got old lol. I also liked Harmony assuming he was the dude who went around playing the trumpet.
Smurfette was a total babe, and what a sexy voice she had!

I used to love the smurfs when I was younger. Is it still on tv anymore? I used to like the girl one best and I can't really remember any of the others lol!

We at the Smurfs Convention prefer the term "Smurf enthusiast" rather than "Smurf nerd"

^Yes I'd like to see that feisty blue minx again as your avatar.
As I recall the picture was a tad risque and Smurfette was flashing her shreddies (knickers).
