So what have you noticed being the major trends so far this year?

I have noticed plaid shorts for guys of all patterns and colors. Also flip-flops are in.

What about you? Ladies do you see any disturbing trends?

^ Tie-die!! Maxi Dresses are still around too - they so don't suit me. And also the naval look, which I don't like, is in!

Also flares though, and the whole hippie vibe, which I do like.

I don't mind flares - as long as they're not too big (they don't suit me).

I hear paisley is in for the ladies this summer!

I usually wear linen trousers with T shirts and if it's really hot I wear sandals to work. Honest it doesn't look as bad as I describe!

linen is very comfortable, i wish I could wear that to work! I have seen a number of dudes wearing linen and t-shirts funky you must be a trend setter

I've seen lots of guys in school wearing those long shorts with colour and patterns....I think they're nice as long as they're not too over board.
I like the skirts which are just above the knee (sort of short versions of gyspy skirts) with patterns and colour on and are sort of floaty but I havent found one yet for this summer - I need to hit the shops sometime haha!

^ Yep I like them. I have a nice black one but its a bit big round the hips which is annoying, but a nice colourful one would be nice!
I liked that Topshop one.....I should be going shopping tomorrow eveing and will search for a nice ra ra skirt!

My summer fashion is the same as my winter fashion. Jeans and a T-Shirt, plain T of course not one covered in stupid logos. Although recently I have pushed the boat out and invested in a couple of pairs of combat pants.

am i the only one that hates this naval look?? hate it and also only being 5' nowt maxi dresses are a huge no -no. Silver and gold sandals are a must have and tan (the colour not the skin) is a big one to go for. oh and posey tint from benefit (had to get that in!!!)
