Wrapping PresentsI have just had a look at a guide on the BBC website on how to wrap presents, not because I needed to I hasten to add!
I do think presentation goes a long way with presents, and sometimes I have had the most beautifully wrapped present only to open it and find something quite boring inside.
So DL'ers when it comes to wrapping presents do you make lots of effort or do you just throw it all together.
Here is the link on how to wrap a present

I'm not a big fan of wrapping at all - I'm find if its a book or a box, but that's about it. For everything else I stick to crepe paper and gift bags - much easier, and prettier. Oh, and I like bows!

I'm rubbish at wrapping. It's always so messy!
No matter how hard I try I just make a dog's dinner. In fact my wrapping is a standing joke with my family every year.
I shall swat up with that link I think

^Mav is great at wrapping presents he seems to have lots of patience, then again he only really wraps mine. I do all the family and friends quota and they probably get messier as I get towards the last few lol!

I'm male so wrapping (well mainly patience with things like this) is not my forte. I got married earlier this year and only having to wrap her present is an advantage of doign so!
Like Penny, I'm ok when it's in a box or something thats solid, if it's a weird shape or soft then I'm not so good.
I do try as I feel it's much better to receive a well wrapped present.
Don't do bows or anything like that

Ooooooooooo I love wrapping presents. I'm really fussy about it too, and they have to be super neat, particularly if they're in square/rectangle shaped boxes. Odd shaped ones I get frustrated with because I can never get them as neat as I want them. This year I've tied ribbon around them all and put some curls of ribbon on the top as well. All pretty.

^ I love wrapping presents too, that sounds so sad but I do! I love getting them all perfect so I like doing square and rectangle ones best. I usually wrap up my brother and sisters presents cos no-one else in my family can be bothered lol!!!

^ You two are like my sister - she loves wrapping. Its her favourite thing to do. She's even offered to wrap all my 'difficult' i.e not in boxes presents for me. Yay!!!

^ Wrapped loads of presents today whilst watching Scrooge on DVD, oh the joys! Took all afternoon. I still have Katies presents to wrap and the boxes are massive but I will enjoy wrapping them, I can't wait for her to see what she is getting :Christmastree

It does sound weird to say, but i do like wrapping presents. I got all mine done yesterday while listening to QOTSA and i've offered to do the rest of my families (for a small fee).

I quite like wrapping presents too, it gets me feeling all christmassy. The only problem is im a bit of a control freak (i'll pretend i can hear you all gasp in surprise) and so when james wants to help i get all bossy and critical and kind of spoil it for him!
Still its not my fault if he's crap at wrapping!

^^^Gasps in suprise.
I love wrapping pressies. I put the Chrismas tunage on, and sing along with all of them whilst I'm sat on the floor surrounded by paper, labels and sellotape.

I never understand why people wrap bottles of wine. It's not like you disguise what the present is

^ I usually put wine/spirits in a bottle bag wrapped in tissue, it is difficult to disguise and wrap!
