So any of you have a regular work out routine going? If so what do you do? I know some of us go through cycles.
I am trying to get back to going 5 days a week. I have kind of slacked off since the weather has gotten better and especially with the Euros. I want to get home from work and watch the football right away.
Usually I do some free weights, bench press and some time on a treadmill and stationary bike/

| I don't have a specific work out system or routine that I do. I cycle to work and back 3 days a week (4th day I have a lift lol). I walk to school and back every day which is about a 20 minute walk each way from where I live. I also walk everywhere else too, which can take anything from 20 to 30 minutes depending on where I'm going. I do have one of those twisty board things that you stand on and twist at your waist. |

| ^ Walking and biking that much, you probably don't have to worry about it. Sitting at a desk all day, I have to do something really because weight can go on quick lol |

I need to up my exercise!
I sit at a desk all day to and at the grand old age of 40 I reckon I'm gonna lose my wafe-like heroin chic figure any day!
I currently play 5-a-side footy and squash once a week but I need to up it a bit, might start gyming! |

^ I start a 5 v 5 footy league next week. I am excited I haven't played in a few years.
Flakey I know what you mean with chocolate, luckily I am not a huge fan of it. Whenever one woman in my office is at that time of the month it apparently is the ok to binge eat chocolate, so naturally they share. Then they spend the rest of the day talking about how they need to diet! ARGGHH I work with too many women here. |

I'm a bit of an exercise Junky...
I aim to do 30/40 mins of CV exercise 4 times per week (running, X-trainer, cycle (outdoor not on exercise bike) or rower), weight train twice per week and play 7 a side football once per week. And I do manage to do this most weeks - if I miss out something it's usually because I'm ill or on holiday. If I don't manage everything it's usually just a missed weights session or CV session.
I've just come back from the US on holiday for almost 3 weeks where I've not exercised and have already started up again. It's so hard after time off as a (shorter than usual) run today was really difficult so people who are just starting out/restarting after a long time off really have my sympathy and admiration if they stick with it
I was really sporty at school/collegue put when I went to Uni I put on lots of weight (bordering obese - in my eyes atleast) which prompted a good exercise routine and is enough motivation to keep me at it although I'm no longer adicted as I once was |

It's always ok to binge on chocolate as far as I'm concerned, just even more so when it's that time of the month lol! |

-Yosemite
-Death Valley
-Las Vegas
-Palm Springs
-Los Angeles
It was awesome and I'd recommend it to anyone |

It all fit together quite well. It just took some planning before we set off to set out what we wanted to see in each place and just book the hotels the the appropriate number of nights. We stayed in Yosemite, LV and LA a night longer than most people do which made the whole holiday more relaxing, being able to lie in and not get up at the crack of dawn (unlike Florida where I went last year)
The LA traffic wasn't too bad as I was there over the weekend and only travelled into LA on the friday before the rush hour and avoided the 486 like the plague - I did see the road and it was like a car park all of the time. The worst big of traffic for me was picking up the car at the airport in San Fran and gettign straight on the Interstate ont he way to Yosemite. Whilst trying to get used to a bigger car, wrong side of car, wrong side of the road with lots of junctions, cars undertakign and overtaking, roads splitting and merging, some lane's being exit only and others not it's quite difficult. Saying that, after abotu an hour a adjusting it's ok. Once you realise that the signposts in America highlight the turning before the turnoff and not on it (they do both over here, whereas mainland Europe just highlight the turning where it is). Once TomTom managed to find it's signal and realise where in the world I was, this problem went away.
It's hard to say what my favourite part of the trip was as I loved it all (except the heat in Death Valley/Palm Springs) but I think that Yosemite just about tops it off, especially white water rafting down the Merced river. LA wasn't as bad as what people say - Santa Monica is really nice. Cycling over the Golden Gate bridge and the helicopter ride in the Grand Canyon comes a close second |

| ^ I never attempted to drive when I came over to the UK. You are a brave one especially in California! Sounds like a great trip you planned out though. The rafting in Yosemite is great I did that as well, was a great time. Santa Monica is also my favorite spot in LA. Great shops, bars etc.. I also liked Westwood and UCLA area of LA, because everything wasn't crazy expensive. |
